PSC offers free, confidential services to pregnant women. The first few weeks of pregnancy can be an extremely overwhelming time, especially if the pregnancy was not planned. A pregnancy can present seemingly impossible challenges. At PSC, we want women to know that they do have options. Abortion is not the only answer to an unplanned pregnancy. Choosing life, whether that means parenting or creating an adoption plan, is also a viable option. There is a way forward and we are here to help her navigate that.

At PSC, our goal is to help our clients navigate their situation with customized care that is based on their needs, their health, and their specific situation.
We provide medical services including appointments with medical staff, either an RN or a nurse practitioner, pregnancy testing, and limited obstetrical ultrasounds performed by an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer). These medical appointments are becoming increasingly important. Many women:
find it increasingly difficult to locate care due to a limited number of practitioners and also find that their initial appointment may not be for weeks or even months
know that they need care but do not want others to know about their pregnancy for a myriad of reasons
have been channeled to virtual/online platforms which can leave patients feeling disconnected and discouraged especially when dealing with sensitive medical circumstances such as pregnancy.
PSC prides itself on scheduling client appointments in a timely fashion. If possible, appointments are booked the same day however, the vast majority of appointments are scheduled within one week of initial inquiry. Such timely scheduling is becoming increasingly rare in women's healthcare.
As a respected member of our community, PSC works closely with our clients to better understand their needs and then assist them in locating appropriate resources which can help meet those needs.
Our staff understands that pregnancy loss can be an extremely difficult situation for many women. Whether it be by miscarriage, or abortion, PSC is here for women who find themselves struggling after losing a pregnancy. Our staff will meet with a client to determine resources which could be a good fit to help her through this painful and challenging process.
PSC offers online classes through Brightcourse. These classes cover a wide range of topics from healthy pregnancy, childbirth, infant care, and safe sleep to healthy relationships, finance, surviving abuse, and blending families. Classes are offered one-on-one and tailored to each client's circumstances and needs. Interaction with staff offers an opportunity for clients to feel supported, prepared, and encouraged as they move through their pregnancy, encounter new challenges, and prepare for their little ones. After completing classes, mothers are treated to a visit in our newly redecorated baby boutique where she is spoiled with beautiful items for her bundle of joy. She also receives either a new car seat or an option for safe sleep to keep her little one safe and secure.
Although PSC has shifted our focus to providing quality, professional medical services to mothers, we continue to offer some essential material supplies for both mother and baby. Supplies may include maternity clothes, post postpartum care items, diapers, formula, and baby clothing depending on donations and availability.
